While pregnancy represents a period of expansion and growth, the postpartum phase is marked by a time of turning inward, a time for rest and integration. This is equally true in the event of pregnancy loss. By embracing this turning towards the dark, we honor the transformation and initiation aspects of pregnancy, regardless of birth outcome.
To truly receive the blessings that this postpartum return phase has to offer, we are called to release old parts of ourselves and in doing so, emerge from the darkness carrying the light of wisdom and healing to be shared with our families and within our communities.
This ritual is held within a safe, warm, supportive container and is open to anyone who has experienced a pregnancy.
